Geez, the inmates have taken over the asylum, eh? I thought schools were worried about teenage pregnancies? I guess not because apparently sex is the topic of the day in public schools. I hope all you AMERICAN parents are removing your kids from the asylums.

First of all I don’t think 2nd graders need to be taught anything about sexual relationships by the school system. That is far too young for them to be given that information. Anything they need to know about it should be handled by the parents. My basis for believing homosexuality is wrong is the Christian bible. A good passage to read is Romans chapter 1, specifically verses 20 to 32; such verses as “Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. … who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.”

That’s pretty difficult to misinterpret. The judgment it refers to is by God, not by people. The bible in no way advocates violence against homosexuals. I know many people that are opposed to homosexuality and not a single one of them has ever spit upon a homosexual. I can reject a lifestyle choice that I believe is sinful and I can object to it being taught to children as if it’s perfectly acceptable, without rejecting someone as a person.

The media exploits cases of violence against homosexuals as if it’s a common occurrence while violence by homosexuals is covered up – for instance the case of Matthew Shepard, where the actual motivation for violence was most likely not related to homosexuality, while no one hears about the case of Jesse Dirkhising, a 13 y.o. boy killed by two male homosexuals. http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=110906

What’s wrong with letting kids know that homosexuality is alright and that one shouldn’t judge people because of their life choices? The only people that would want to ban this message are the ones who enjoy secluding themselves from the outside world in ignorance. The same ignorance, mind you, that caused the mass genocide that almost wiped an entire race off the face of the earth. And if your reasoning for this is that it’s the will of your lord, please show me the passage in your respective holy book that says one should spit upon and reject members of the homosexual community.

Great Website, Vicki! I’ve booked marked it for further use. This is not surprising at all considering the homosexuals have been force feeding their perverted agenda to our kids for a while now with other grade school books like “Heather has Two Mommies” and “King and King”. If parents really love their children, they will pull them out of the godless government school system before their minds & souls are completely destroyed.

I am far from the state of California, and I will notify my church of the decision made by the education system to teach children that there is nothing wrong with being homosexual. I can see having a class or an assembly about Gay parents raising children and making sure that other children don’t bash them or make their life harder and full of grief, but to take and teach children that “GAY is ok” is wrong! My huband and I pride ourselves in teaching our children that the sanctity of marriage is to be pure between and man and a woman. Also that sex is not Ok before marriage. When the school system decides to have sex ed, pass out condoms, or same gender relationship lessons, is telling my kids that its ok to do the things that i told them NOT TO! As a Parent I WILL DECIDE what my child is to learn in school. God gave these Children to ME, not the school system. If that means homeschooling my kids, than that is my GOD GIVEN right.

I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS IS A MANDATORY CLASS. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THE FAMILY MORALS. NOW THE PARENT HAS NO RIGHT IN THE EDUCATION OF THEIR OWN CHILDREN? WHATS UP. NO MORE PRAYERS, 10 COMMANDMENTS, NO GOD IN ANYTHING. BUT HOMOSEXUALITY IS OK. N O T !!! WHY NOT TEACH THEM MURDER, LYING, CHEATING AND SATAN IS OK? THIS SEAMS TO BE WHAT YOU THINK IS NORMAL. WHY WOULD ANYONE USE THE FUTURE OF OUR COUNTRY (THE CHILDREN) AS GUINEEPIGS . I THANK GOD I AM ONE OF THE PARENTS THAT TOOK THE EDUCATION AWAY FROM THE IDIOTIC SCHOOL SYSTEMS AND AM TEACHING FROM THE CHRISTIAN EDUCATION. IF YOU READ THIS PLEASE TAKE ACTION INTO YOUR OWN HANDS AND PULL THE CHILDREN OUT OF PUBLIC SCHOOLS. SAVE YOUR CHILD FROM ALL THE CONFUSION. IT IS HARD ENOUGH TO EXPLAIN THE FACTS OF LIFE TO A CHILD WITHOUT ADDING THIS TO IT TOO.

i am disgusted with this book “tango makes three” teaching children that its OK to be homosexual. that its NORMAL?? I learned about this at church on sunday, and it just turns my stomach.. I will not let my children be taught this junk.. What is RIGHT is what is God.. and This EXCLUDES him all together.. its NOT ok to be Homosexual! Heard about a county in California that is making this lesson MANDATORY and that parents CAN NOT remove their children from this lesson once it begins, and I will say, Whoever has their child in this lesson, and Knows what is right.. who cares about what they say is MANDATORY, GET THEM OUT!!! Im homeschooling my kids when i have them.. IF i have them, this world without Christ is turning out to be something disgusting!!!
